Saw "When Harry Met Sally" recently. It was the movie which brought the genre of romantic comedies back in fashion in Hollywood. I found the movie to be extremely witty and humorous, with Billy Crystal giving an absolutely great performance. I did not know that the director of this film was Rob Reiner.. who we would know better as the director of A Few Good Men. This man has an amazing range!
The lead protagonist Harry Burns makes some very witty and funny statements about love, friendship and sex.
Sample this conversation between the main protagonists..
Harry: No man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally: So you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive.
Harry: No, you pretty much want to nail them, too.
This is a sort of statement that very few people would make openly! Makes you think doesnt it?
