Sample this joke that I received in my mailbox...

"When I was young I used to pray for a bike,
then I realized that God doesn't work that way,
so I stole a bike and prayed for forgiveness.."

Funnily I find that many theists are believers in the exact same sense as in the joke. They think that their sins can be washed off by praying!
Like the title of that song by "Extreme" called as "Tragic Comic"....this is funny but sad!!!

Caveat: This is not to belittle the true faith that many people have in God, but it is just my observation about some believers!
